DOOM Metal

The lead guitarist from Nazereth, Manny Charlton, had a secret love for the 1993 computer game release: Doom about which he wrote a song and in 1995 sent a tape of it the the guys at Id Software as means of saying thanks for the good work.

On my path to becoming an electrician

shard of glass

A dream I had last night that involved me falling onto a shard of glass that went all the way through the left-side of my abdomen laying in an alley next to some park railings where I lay for a day and a half 10 am till 2pm the next day. I was eventually discovered and fixed up and remember feeling the scar left on both my back and stomach in a kind of weird wonder. Revisting the place where I had been left there was still blood and hospital equipment left laying about. It was surreal to have it feel so real as whilst in the dream I couldn't remember all of the accident and was told I was hallucinating constantly.

Judging a book by its cover and title in second bookshops can be an addictive hobby, so I let loose occasionally, throwing cation to the wind sinking a hefty 3 pounds on 4 books.
